he is a really good/close friend of mine but on 3 occassions we have ended up sleeping in the same bed (JUST SLEEPING, such as after a house party) but half way through the night i wake up and he is holding me close and caressing me, on one occassion we even kissed. he said to just pretend that it never happend and he asked me to promise not to tell his girlfriend which i agreed on. when he does this he acts as though he is sleeping but i have a feeling he's not hehe. what does this mean??

Yeah, hun. I wouldn't be getting into any beds with him again. You really should tell his girlfriend. I'm sure you'd like to know if your boyfriend was falling asleep with another female and him caressing her, holding her close, and even kissing her. I know I would.
It's really up to you on whether to tell his girlfriend or not, but I seriously suggest you to not be around him during those times.

The only person knows what he really mean is he(the man your talking). Maybe he have some feelings for you or maybe he missed the things they're doing by his girlfriend and since you are their he used you.

Maybe he is trying to see how far he can go with you and then he says he has a girlfriend so you will keep quiet about it.
