Not a great idea, planting trees uses a great deal of water that cannot then reach rivers, dams or the sea. Once in the air that water then functions as a greenhouse gas. The amount of extra CO2 in the air at the moment can only account for an extra 1/2 a degree of greenhouse warming. It is possible that the amount can double to cause 1 degree of warming but very very unlikely. That is to do with the natural rate of removal, mostly by algae in the Oceans. If you wish to make a difference contact World Vision or the Red Cross and help people in need. A lot of this hype is intended to stop people from doing just that. Don't be railroaded by manipulative adults!!!

Plant a billion trees if it will make you feel better. But if you think you're going to save the planet from global warming you should know that CO2 appears to be more of an effect of global warming than a cause. You could be accelerating global warming rather than slowing it.

If you can handle a large download go to Google, com, click on Video and search for "The Great Global Warming Swindle" and see the evidence.

Plant trees, as many as you can: that is the best way you can join the campaign!
