For one, "Batman" was the bigger show of the two, second, Bert Ward would crap in his tights before the shoot. Ward and Lee did not see eye too eye. The final was an old Mexican stand off between the two of them. I did see on A&E bio of Bruce Lee that at one point behind the set Bruce knocked the sh_t out of Bert Ward.

Ok, thanks for the points. You must be kidding. Boy Blunder vs Kato. Come on Now. I don't remember Robin starring in any Fight Movies. I can't even recall Robin winning a fight on His own. He got Batman in more trouble than He was worth. Remember, Batman would be fighting with someone and Robin would get caught and be hanging over a tank of acid or something, then Batman would get caught saving Robin.

Don't know if this is true, but I read that the original script had Robin winning, but Bruce Lee threw a fit about getting whipped by such a pansy. So a compromise was reached where neither hero really won the fight. Also, supposedly Batman Adam West was talking big on the set, but changed his tune when he realized that Bruce would spank him like a child if they ever fought.

I remember that episode, dang! that was a long time ago! You have to keep in mind that TV shows are for entertaining, they don't prove anything as it is scripted. On the episode Robin and Kato's fight ended up in a draw.

I grew up in the 60s and I don't remember the "Green Hornet" ever fighting with "Batman". Bruce Lee portrayed "Kato", the "Green Hornet's" sidekick. "Batman's" sidekick was "Robin". Both duo's were good guys, so I can't envision them fighting. Are you sure you've got that right?

Bruce became a martial artist, not a fighter. there's a distinction. Bruce became a scholar. He became continuously searching for the ideal suggestions in spite of what form they got here from. while he first began compiling his e book he became reluctant to offer it a popularity because of fact he feared that by using calling it something, he could be implying that it had boundries. became out, he became precise. To right this moment, human beings say 'this is Jeet Koon Do and that may not'. i think every physique is lacking the essence of what he became attempting to declare. i will might desire to return by using my library, yet as quickly as I remember, Bruce did not harm his back from a combat as considered interior the movie. i think it became a coaching twist of destiny and the manufacturers concept the combat scene could be extra exciting. the element is that for the period of his existence, Bruce Lee in no way stopped getting to grasp martial arts. Had he been alive 10 years in the past while the Gracies first got here up with the UFC, he might have the two nicely-known their venture himself, or sent one in all his scholars. besides the fact that if, in case you remember, there have been not any nicely nicely-known martial artists in those early tournaments. In those days, there have been fewer regulations which allowed the various varieties to apply besides the fact that suggestions they concept might artwork. right this moment, they use the term MMA, yet in certainty, this is game struggling with. might right this moment's UFC combatants be waiting to handle a SUMO wrestler like they did in UFC #2? Bruce Lee has exceeded on. and due to that, we are left to invest what he became and what he might have become. it is declared as a legend. Legends are many times bigger than existence, because of fact there is not any decrease to what a legend might nicely be. He broke the mould and made a popularity for himself. He lived in a time and place the place human beings have been frequently required to combat. human beings did not walk around with digital camera-telephones or different recording instruments like they do right this moment. besides the fact that if Bruce did all the flaws human beings say or not, the actuality that there are human beings who have faith it became conceivable and attempt to be like him makes him great.

BECAUSE THE FIGHT WAS SCRIPTED!!!!

They actually decided to have the fight end in a draw so that neither Batman or Green Hornet would have to lose.
