Get a large fully cooked spiral cut ham, that way it wont take so long to cook. Because you are preparing food for such a large amount of people, you might have to get two. If you have a Ham for Easter you are good to go, on tradition. As for the sides, whatever is easiest for you to make, maybe some potato salad, or pasta salad (salads you can make the night before). If you get a little too anxious about the whole dinner, maybe you could change the dinner to a potlock where everyone brings a dish, and you can make the main dish, the Ham. Good Luck!

This year I'm having about 10 people over and here's what I'm preparing: 1. Deviled eggs 2. Ham with homemade sweet and sour glaze 3. Baked Potatoe Casserole 4. Corn Spoonbread 5. Asparagas bundles with prosciutto and lemon 6. Spinach salad 7. Ambrosia 9. Rolls 10. Lemon Meringue Pie 11. Hawaiian Wedding Cake Sounds like a lot of food, doesn't it? But, I usually lay out a buffet and try to have something that everyone will enjoy. This year I have 2 vegetarians coming, so the extra side dishes are welcomed. Good luck on your first Easter Dinner!!!!

Ham is traditional on Easter only in America. Virtually everywhere else, (particularly Europe), lamb is the traditional choice for Easter. You could do a combination of ham and maybe a leg of lamb or two.

Where do you live? Ham is the most traditional in the U.S. saving the more-traditional lamb dish for dessert: a cake shaped and decorated like a lamb! We're so nutty!
Ham will feed many. I like to mix it up a little and serve a spring vegetables quiche and turtle cake for dessert.
