i am about to cry!! i dyed my brown hair the Ferria Chocolate Cherry...which says it is a brown burgundy. WELL. i left it on longer on top like you are supposed to. But my hair turned out a nice dark red on the very top of my head and bangs and almost BLACK everywhere else. it's EXTREMELY noticeable. i have a bit of dye left over from a couple hours ago. should i put the rest back on the top of my head?? my hair is already thin and sensitive...i don't want it to fall out!!

PLEASE HELP!!! (i am going to be in a documentary film on friday so i have to fix it!! i can't afford to go to a salon right now either!! ugh!!!)

okay. this might be the dumbest thing i have ever did. but i just added some developer to the left over dye. and we put it on my roots...where the hair is a different color. i guess we will see what happens!!! (i will update again!)

yeah. so that really didn't work. i dyed only my roots this time and left it on for a long time. and it only made a minimal change. i guess i am going to be sporting a LOT of ponytails until it fades enough that i can just dye it dark brown or something. UGH!!! anymore suggestions?

go buy the thing called "color oops" and it should take out the color you just put it. i have friends who color their hair like twice a week and they still have all of their hair. it should be fine.

First, calm down. You could start a new trend..multi colored hair is in. You could alway clip your bangs back or try some funky cool style. If you really want to try and fix it go ahead and use the extra dye..if it's not bleach it shouldn't damage it...I mean like..not dry it up or anything. I myself have thin/fine hair and have been dying it for 3 years. I have gone through so many bad cuts and colors..I always pout for a bit then look to the bright side and see what I can do. EMBRASE THEE UNIQUENESS!!!! By the way, my hair on the top is red and the bottom is black and dark brown. My roots have grown and inch and is gold and a sort of brown. I could care less. :] It doesn't matter what people think. They have other things to do then constantly focuse on your hair.

You got to even out the tone of your hair. Wait a day or two and dye it a color a little darker than the chocolate cherry. The trick to dying hair is not putting more color on the roots but starting out with the roots first and putting an even amount of color throughout your hair. Using an old brush helps to spread out the color. Good luck.

Go to a salon in the morning and have them fix the color. I'm guessing you have long hair and the longer length was lighter in color to begin with. It absorbed too much dye. Don't cry, what's done can be fixed by a professional. Don't use or save the leftover dye, it is neutralized by now and has no active ingredients to do any good.

Some people that have gotten the unwanted color from dye tried to keep their hair with lemon juice and it works. Maybe you can try this natural way. Put lemon juice all over you hair, keep it about 1 hr or more. The best result is to keep it under the sun, or try to blow dry it (but it will dry your hair). Mix lemon juice with a part of conditioner. This mixture can soften your hair and make it shiny too, also lighten it up.

I used the same hair dye and my hair looked pretty dark after i washed it the first time but the second time it lightened up a little bit. just try to wash it a few times. If that doesn't work you should try a lighter red it might work.

relies upon, yet I easily have seen some human beings's hair turn orange or a gruesome blonde after dying their hair purple and that is not wonderful. purchase a extra costly dye reason i think of it would be too low priced while that occurs or get touch united statesor have it professionally achieved.
