If you like him then don't let the age ruin a good thing. I'm 32 and my girl friend is 42. It bothered me at first then I realized if I let my insecurities ruin this relationship I would always regret it. I have never been happier and the age difference is not a factor anymore (except when I tease grandma LoL).

The difference between 27 and 34 is really very little. If we in comparison look at the difference between 17 and 24. At your age and his age you are both mature and have been around for a while and are adults. 7 years is very little as compared to an age spread of 15 or 20 years. The age issue shouldn't become a problem for you unless you let it. You are still young enough for a family so forget the trivial nonsense of being a little bit older. If the man was 7 years older would you be concerned?

Couple of really important questions.
1. do you want to be cared for or do you love taking care of people?
women are more mature than men is an established fact so there will be heaps of instances where you will have expectation of him and might end feeling frustrated because your partner is unable to meet your expectations or step up to the maturity that you seek. Remember you have lived seven years of life more than him which could mean you have experienced life seven years ahead of him.
2.Would you wake up with a smile looking at his face each single day for the brest fo you life? if the answer is yes then age has no meaning as you will only grow stronger in the relationship each day if you can smile through life's challenges with him by your side. If the answer is i dont know then maybe you need to test it and then come to a decision.
as you admited it is hard to take advice, all that i would suggest is think through your conflict. only you know what you truly want.

This is beautiful. You will get , unlike me, longer periods to spend with younger. Otherwise I know the pangs of handling my man earlier at 36 , when he fails to meet my desirous twice a day.
