Ok so im a dude, and im 17, and im a natural blonde but i want it to be really really light platinum blonde, but people i know say i would look to much like "Ken" (you know, the male version of barbie) or some people say it would be make me look "brainless". Do you guys think i should do it anyway? And do you think that shade of blonde looks good on guys?

I personally don't reccomend platnium blonde hair on guys. Girls on the other hand look hot with platnium blonde hair. Since you are a natural blonde what I recommend is that you explore all the dark shades of blonde. I personally reccommend the revlon colorsilk #60 Dark Ash Blonde. I think Dark Blonde would suit a guy better than bleached blonde hair. However if you still want want to bleach your hair to a platinum shade. Try the loreal feria #200 Lightening kit Bleach Blonding. Use a toner rinse and use a leave in conditioner to add moisture to your hair. Trust me you will need the leave in conditioner once you've bleached your hair. Because bleaching causes hair to be dried out. With these tips you will feel and look your best.

There are SO many philosophies on going blonde. There are people that like au natural, and those that like a spicier look. Personally, I think that you should do it and enjoy it. You are only going to be young one time in your life. Do it now. I love the way it looks on guys that are close to blonde anyway. It makes their eyes just stand out. One day, you will be too old to have fun and do this stuff. Also, you can dye it back real quick if you don't like it, but I think you will. If I were light enough, I would do it on a dime. Just make sure that you do it carefully so that you don't damage your hair. Good luck and there is NOTHING wrong with Ken and there are some great looking guys with brains out there. Just because a girl might try to treat you like your brainless doesn't mean you have to go along with it. Don't let people box you in, you can be handsome and have brains, too. What century are they living in? Don't allow people to treat you like a boy toy, you know?

I officially LOVE blonde shades! At the moment mine is kinda a goldeny colour. Its a warm blonde.
And yes! I love platinum blonde- it instantly makes people look sizzlin' hot!
...After all, blondes have more fun, right?

Of course it looks good on guys. I think it might look good it depends on your skin color. Like are you tan or not. Too blond might be ugly and look white or gray/white. Try one that is temporary just in case you don't like it and if you do then get a permanent one.

I really don't think it looks good on guys.. or girls for that matter. It looks fake & it's not pretty. It's different if you have black hair & you wanna add a little blue or green or purple or something to it. But platinum blond? Noooo please
