Coaxial speakers do have a measurably broader sound dispersion and in theory they should have better sound. The only problem I have is that the speakers that sound best to me are component speakers. I wouldn't let any one else tell me which speakers are best. The best speakers for you are the speakers that sound best to you!

Hi. In theory the coaxial speaker should because all the drivers radiate sound from a single point.Tannoy make dual concentric drivers as well as traditional speakers. That's not to say all dual concentric speakers are better.Speakers with multiple drivers and crossover networks can sound just as good.

component many component sets have jumper setting to set for the angle of your seat and distance and what not plus you can put the tweeter closer to your ears for bright sounds
