Why is the intestine of a human a good place for the tapeworm to be?

the small intestine contains fully & partially digested nutrients such as amino acids and glucose which is what tapeworms need to survive. they obtain nutrients such thru diffusion thru their cell membranes so they need simple nutrients such as the above-mentioned.

also, the intestines are not as acidic as the stomach due to neutralisation by bile, which is slightly alkaline.

so yup, availability of nutrients & non-hostile environment. a tapeworm's disneyland.

The intestine is the best place to be since most tapeworms have no digestive tract. They adsorb the predigested nutrients of the host.

They are ingested by the host orally from contaminated water or food, _not via the anus_. The exit the host via the anus and continue the cycle.

Coz thats the main entry point of the worm, thro the anus. And also the exit point for the eggs.

Tapeworms enter the anus as it is probably the only area where it could hatch its eggs without any danger. These eggs then attach themselves to the excreta, which when eaten by an animal enter the stomach to create the disease.

when you eat the tapeworm eats the food because it needs to survive. if you dont eat then it'll eat you
