. The beauty of yoga is that it can be applied to our hectic modern-day living. Having been a student yoga , I have had the opportunity to see how yoga truly benefits in his or her own personal way.
Often the first obstacle to practicing yoga is to not truly believe that you deserve the time to practice. your body does so much for you that it deserves some special time to rejuvenate so that it can better serve you and you can better serve others. Don't wait until your body is in pain, though that is when people often begin yoga.
Some people may not have tried yoga because of their misunderstanding that they must be extremely flexible. The primary purpose of yoga is to promote mental well being by connecting the mind and body together. Success in yoga is measured not by ones flexibility, but by ones willingness to make the union of mind, body, and spirit.

Hi,
First of all dont take yoga as a task.try to make it a necissity of your life. just like taking bath and food is a daily routine, think yoga is also necessary to help you live.
start with simple yoga and try doing it when at work. Like if you are in the kitchen, try those bending excercises. while going to bed try remembering what you did in the day... you will be meditating automatically.
try this you will definately start finding time for your yoga in busy schedule.
Thanks
Radhika

As already mentioned wake up earlier than normal. Forget 30 minute and start with 60 minutes ans quickly work up to 90 minutes. WHY? Americans love to hit the snooze button again and again and by the time the average person stops with the snooze button...they are already at least 15 minutes late. Start with setting the alarm 60 mirutes
Face it.....when getting out of bed American are basically lazy, punch the snooze button until their finger tip is numb and care little about if they are on time for work or not.
So...gather, buy, borrow or....well no, don't steal the clothes, mat, sore muscle ointments, etc. Then setup a schedule with times (wake up, travel time, yoga start time, finish time, cool down period, time travel to home/work. Commit to it, stick to it and once you get into the routine......you won't even realize the time involved.
Good luck and and keep committed to you schedule and your plan.

you can take yoga before or after work. you may also want to take yoga on the weekend as well. you just have to find a good time to schedule your yoga glasses in your busy schedule and treat yoga part of your daily exercise and routine.

Try not to treat yoga as another chore you have to fit in, take it as one of your 'this is for me times'. There are 24 hrs in a day, 8 for work, 8 for sleep and 8 for YOU.
