When you sit for meditation, you leave nine doors of your body (called the nine apertures) eyes, nose etc---your body becomes numb and sensation free.
Then the door at the eye centre opens and leads you out of the body into the spiritual realm and when you open your eyes and end your meditation, you close the spiritual door and thus open or activate the nine apertures---and thus come back to this materialistic world.
The nine doors are 2 eyes, 2 nostrils, 2 ears, 1 mouth & two below.
There can be no spiritualism when these doors are open because our attention is spread outside through these doors into this world---only when we turn our attention inwards at the eye centre can we find God.

It was a riddle Sheba posed to Solomon. The answer is a human being, with 10 orifices. When a baby is in the womb, all of its orifices are closed except for the navel, and when it is born, they all open, but the navel closes.
I think that's the answer.
