Sure. And sweat! Seriously, almost any exercise that gets your heart racing will be good for your self image if you stick with it. The key is just making it a habit - if you find it hard to keep up half an hour a day (it *is* a lot to just launch into on a lark) then try half an hour every other day or monday, wednesday and friday or whatever works and then try something else the other days. Just don't let it get to be a burden.

One of the benefits of exercise is that it relieves stress, and ultimately makes you feel good. Don't overdo it, though. The link below will give you some tips on this form of exercise. The site is informative. It gives you certain advice on how to start a jogging program. It is advised that you don't jog immediately during the first weeks. Walk first and then gradually jog. Hope this helps.

Totally!! I trained for a twelve mile charity walk last year and the increased sense of fitness, improved muscle tone etc all improve your confidence. It's amazing what you can do when you make an effort.
I raised £149.00, if you work towards a goal (such as a marathon or a fun run, it makes it easier!)

Confidence is a state of mind, and really doesnt have a lot to do with physical effort. It is usually obtained after a series of successful chalenges.
However, if you are out of shape and havent been able to jog 1/2 hour every day, being able to do so does give you a sense of pride and can raise your confidence level,

if u start jogging everyday, you will fell more active.
if you start seeing results, you are going to get motivated.
but if you want self confidence, that's in your mind..
Jogging is going to give you extremely low results as such, many people have been discouraged.
But jogging done the right way [only if you want to lose weight] can keep you motivated.
jog for 5 mins slow pace.
A - run hard for 1 min
B - jog for 1 min at slow pace
Repeat this cycle 5 times
finish your jog with 5 mins slow jogging..
This is only if you want to lose weight..
other than that, joggin gives you a peace of mind.

Most definitely! Exercising increases endorphins in the body, which make us feel good!
Take it easy at first... You'll probably want to have rest days, don't over do it. You will be surprised how quickly you can build up your fitness, try increasing your pace and length every week.
