I have it & it is wonderful! Works awesome. I have very dry feet & live in the desert, so I wear sandals all the time.

This is normal. Usually when you walk a lot, don't keep your feet moisturized, or have a fungus it gets this way. As long as the skin is not brittle and discolored(yellowish usually) it is not an infection. If you do not keep your feet moisturized, then start. At work/school use a foot lotion, and then at home(before bed and when you wake up is best).
Also, as the previous person mentioned: Pumice or similar things are very useful for a quick treatment(dont do it too much though)
Another thing I have done is what someone else mentioned.. razor blade(the more blades the better). The fusion ones work the best. Doing this(if you have money to spend on new razors, also takes some time to clean it out) and then using pumice about once a month(and pumice alone once a week), plus moisturizing is a good method of keeping them soft n smooth.

I have the same problem. I think your right and it is a callus but I dont think vaseline will help. I got one of those foot scrubbers from Dr. Sholl. I soak my feet in hot water and scrub with that thing until it hurts. then i use Nurtogena foot cream before i go to sleep. U have to do this daily or it wont help. sometimes i forget or im too lazy and it goes back to being hard and whit-ish.

Go to your nearest drug store and look for "pretty hands and feet" It's a dry skin remover that you use on your dry callused 'hands and feet' Read the directions very carefully before you use it because you cannot get your feet wet at all before you use it. I've used it for years. I have really dry feet! Use this stuff to get most of it tough stuff off. Then soak them and use a pumice stone to smooth them out. It takes a really short time. It's just like the stuff that the ladies at the nail shop use in pedicures. :)

Next time you go to the store buy what is called pumis rock. It could be in the cleaning solution aisle. then when you are shaving your legs or something get your foot wet and use the rock to scrape away the dead skin. This definitely works. It might feel funny scraping the skin but its worth it. Trust me on this. Hope it Helps!

there is a little tool you can buy at the drug store. it usually comes in a light blue. it is an oval with a handle on it. the oval has a strange file sort of. when you use it it's scraping thin layers of that callous off. it shouldn't cost much and it should meet your need.
if you ask somebody at the drug store, i'm sure they'll know what it is.
