can humans utilize sunlight and use it as an energy in their body without consuming food for years?

Uh, no. Humans are not able to convert sunlight into energy like plants. Humans do not have the photosynthesis cells in the skin. Work on the genetics and maybe someday we will be able to quit eating and just bask.

Not directly for energy production like the photosynthesis of the plants. But when we eat plant produce we are indirectly consuming sunlight.
