rocky six??? if you mean rocky balboa movie, no. he loses by a split decision at the end, but gets an ovation as he leaves the ring. kinda like a last hurrah for a legendary/retiring sports figure would get.

It was a split decision I didn't really get the movie I preferred the other Rocky's

No, the movie is not about winning the fight, it's about proving that you can do anything you put your mind to. The movie was OK. Not a good Rocky movie, but a good move about lessons and stuff!

That really depends. In the original version he is defeated via split decision. It's not about winning or losing, though. It's about "how hard you can get punched and still keep going", meaning having heart and not quitting.

But, if you have the DVD and watch the alternate ending, he does win by split decision.

So the answer to the original question is no, but yes.

It's a split decision. Mason "the line" Dixon retains his title of Heavy weight champion - while Rocky regains his self-respect.
