Do shy guys generally hesitate in flirting with someone they like? What are the signs that a shy guys could be interested in you, assuming he doesn't really mingle or try to get to know you?

He will stare at you and smile or look away quickly when he gets caught. And yes we tend to shy away from flirting, or we kid and joke to make it more comfortable when doing so.

of course a shy guy would hesitate in flirting with you. but in his head he has already contemplated on what to do or what to say or maybe he'd already day dreamed of how everything would go. even if he doesn't mingle with you he keeps his eyes on you and watches everything you do (very scary) but most importantly he's somehow always around u or ends up being where u are coz at any moment he's ready to say something but he can't. coz he's SHY! another sign aside from always being around u is that he is always facing you. whenever he just came from somewhere else or u walk in the room his whole body is facing towards u. its a sign of "liking" you.

There is a very good chance that he has the same feeling as you, guys who tend to be shy or are more passive (such as me) tests if the girl shares the same feeling by starting out with a "not-so-romantic-but-going-out-alone" date, so try showing some affection such as holding his hand or hint him with a little of your own feelings, if he has the mutual feeling, he definitely will respond, even if he doesn't, he might just be, you know, shy, so give him a little time and you guys will definitely bond at the right time.

Shy guys are generally nice but they do not flirt and they do not usually express their feelings about someone they like. That
is what being shy is all about and I think it has some subliminal issues of fearing rejection which we all do, but are not at the level of sensitivity that they are. They do respond to nice girls who give sweet kisses.

I flirt but am shy. I'm not afraid of rejection though because I'm used to it (by the way, I've been single for about 3yrs,lol).
I look at it as seeking my place in the sun, which I have hope that one day I will find!

Well I'm a bit shy ... and usually I usually hold back from doing a move or something ... but you can notice cuz we treat you different than other people, are interested in waht your saying and look into your eyes and we you notice it we look away ...
if you really like a shy guy .. just be patient ...

It might be that he feels helpless in being able to flirt with you. I think it is that women provide a lot of "Portean" signals when they flirt. This is just subcontious signals that that girls use to confuse guys so when they are in the prosses of ditermining if they like the guy, or if they are afraid he will not like you. I'm shy and I hesitate in flirting that's because I don't want to be pepper sprayed,most women will pepper spray guys just for talking to them.

If that guy likes you, that guy is no longer shy with you. He would find ways to get along with you.

sometimes you'd think the guy was weird cos he wouldnt know how to act around you lol. other times theyd get over their shyness so that they can get closer to you, in other words theyd change for you and you only lol.
just hope that theyd get over their shyness sooner rather than later. :P
