Theres an ex-boyfriend i had who at the time thought he was so great. When i think of him now i want to vomit. I would never even talk to this guy. Hes gross, stupid, just disgusting..
What was I thinking? How could I have been in love with him for two years? Was I crazy? so ashamed..
anyone else feel this way about an ex or it just me?

It is not just you - if I think back to my first serious relationship, I cringe with embarressment and berate myself because I cannot understand what I ever saw in him or what attracted me to him. And to think I ended a good friendship because of him. He has become such a loser in life - has two children by two different women ( and they are best friends aswell). I thank my luckt stars that I dumped him when I did or I could've ended up being one of those women. I think we all have the one ex that has that effect on us - a kind of "what was I thinking" moment after the fact. But you know what they say about hindsight????

hellz yea i feel the same way too! theres dis one ex who wuz a drama queen! every situation even wen slightly bad she has to make it look like itz a tragic scene. n she takes all of these things out on me n treated me like like crap. she also cut me off from my friends and responsiblities but then fortunate for me i ended it like after 6 weeks after going out. its been a year n even til this day she disgust me. so ur not alone

OMG I have felt that way more than once. The best thing to do is block it out of your mind everytime you think of it. Or replace the morbid thought with some good one, like the one night stand you had with mr. america

I dated a guy who would beat the CRAP out of me at least twice a month. I dealt with that for years. When he "quit" me, I would call him to come back.
So, I know what you are saying.
We're women...we're emotional...
Yeah, we do crazy things. Then we get to STEP BACK and look at it....and learn.

oh yeah all the time...and the sad thing is he broke up with me and the best thing is u move one with someone better!!!! and the nazty thing is those losers end up wanting u back...and no way!!!

i think everyone has that old love that they dont really know why they loved and cared for that person. but lucky you have put that part of live behind you and have moved on.
