it hurts to think about it, but i cant ask out the girl i like. no-body likes me, i dont like myself.im pretty much useless and am suffering from depression. i dont understand why he created me at all, if even im not happy being alive why did i have to be born in the first place?

A person who is attractive is a person who cares for others and lends a helping hand when it is needed. A attractive person can bring a smile to a friend who is feeling blue and it is some one who respects others. As its been said its a persons attitude that makes them attractive. It is not some one who is "flawless" in the sence of the model world. People who judge you based on your looks aint worth your time. They are, in my oppion, shallow. Why were you born? I don't have a answer for you since I beleive only you can fully understand your purpose here on earth,but mabe you are here so you can over come your depression and help others who are suffering from it? So you can say I have been there, I understand what your going threw...?? I beleive every thing we go threw in life is a test if you will, to try to show us that we can over come anything that is given to us. You may not understand it rite now, but latter down the road, a year or even 10 years from now you may be able to answer your question "why". Some one suggested you should talk with some one about this. It may not be a bad idea so you can get some of this off of your chest. If your edgy about it you can start a jurnal to help release some of your frustrations that you have inside. You can also find some thing that allows you to express your feelings, art, sports ect. Once you start expressing your feelings you can begin to shape your life.

You are suffering from a self esteem problem. If you do not have any confidence in yourself, nobody else will see you as confident either. Read Is 53, the bible says that even the Lord Jesus Christ had no beauty which made people desire to see Him. The Lord can relate to you. But you know, even though the Lord was not a good looking guy, you know what made all the people want to be around Him? The glory of God rested on Him and it drew all people to Him. I can relate as a young person. People told me I was ugly and I would never be anything. I was so lonely and hurt, that all I did was contemplate suicide all the time. This was at the time I was a young Christian. Then something happen when I turned 16. The power of God began to transform my life. It was like the ugly duckling turning into the swan. The anointing of God began the change the way people looked at me. That's what happens when the anointing of God is on you. People are so captivated by the Christ in you and on you, that your physical features become irrelevant. All they see is Christ.

Well god didn't make you there’s no such thing as god. And yes your right you’re an ugly son of a b-tch and so am I. But you’re stuck with your looks so try to be funny and entertaining. The only way you’ll ever get girls is to never show you’re depressed. If you’re overweight try going on a diet or maybe do something with your hair or clothing. At your age almost all the girls and guys will be more worried about looks since personality doesn’t really matter because there looking for a quick lay nothing serious. But there are those like you looking for something more serious. When you get old though trust me all the girls will be going for you. Just try to revamp your personality I don’t care how bad looking you think you are. If you can manipulate your image enough you can get any girl you want. The sad truth about it is at your age you’re supposed to be an egotistical asshole. Haha that is the truth my friend that no one has the guts to tell you. Just try your best to be funny and make everything about them and you'll get a girl.

Understand something my friend. You were made in the image and likeness of God. He has never made anything unattractive nor will He start to. You are perfectly made by the perfect Creator. You have a unique purpose in life and only you have it. Others may have the same type of calling but yours is special and only for you.
A little shepherd boy was not even considered a likely choice to be a king yet it happened. Why? God looks on the heart of a person. Not the outward appearance as we do.
If it makes you feel any better, I love you for who you are. Not what you look like. It does not matter to God and it does not matter to me either.
Can you talk to this girl you like? Try that first and see where it goes from there.
Learn to see yourself as Jesus does and you will start to feel better about yourself. With that will come confidence and boldness. Then wisdom will come along accompanied by understanding. Pretty soon you will asked for your opinion or advice by people you don't even know.
God loves you and so do I.

I'm kind of a good looking guy and honestly it does not really help me, sure I could go to a bar and get laid but that does not make me happy. As you get older you tend to get ugllier and girls only wants guys who have good jobs. So don't worry about it so much there is a girl out there for you somewhere. I suggest you focus on making a good living and getting a home, then you can maybe help other people and and find a nice woman that does not care about such things.

dear friend i am sorry that you feel this way, but believe that you are important to somebody and you are here for a reason. life cant be good all the time and when it's bad, it feels like there is no point of being here. trust me i have been there. but when you stop listening to other people and quit trying to be or look like what other people want you to be or look, you will find you and be happy. but you wont be happy until you deal with yourself. God will turn nothing into something, so if you feel like nothing, then you will be something. Let go and let God....

I have the exact same problem. But I keep trying. So should you. Well then again its only the ones my age that find me ugly. Its always the ones 20 years older than me who find me attractive. Maybe its because I have what they call the Aragorn look. Long hair and a beard.
