from the time you applied on average. I'm speaking about natural born US citizens. Not those from other countries now considered citizens.

Whether you're an American-born citizen, or a foreign-born American citizen doesn't matter. The fact is you ARE a citizen of the United States and it takes approximately 6 weeks to get a passport.

You can get it in a day too, but it'll cost you extra.

It is taking 8 to 10 weeks from the time they receive the application to when you will receive your passport.

You can pay an additional expedite fee of $60, plus $28.80 for overnight charges, and receive it in about 4 weeks, but there are no absolute guarantees.

Passport applications for persons who are born US citizens and persons who natrualize as US citizens take the same amount of time to process.

Normal 10 weeks.

Expedite 3-4 weeks.

Go to Washington DC and have an appointment 1-14 days. It can be done in 1 day, but expensive and requires an appointment (which may not be available for several days).

I don't know, but if you are fairly sure you are going to travel, apply for it yesterday! Or asap.
