this is my first time going on a date i really like her(i dont even know if its a date really) but she asked me to go to the movies with her and her friend and her friends boyfriend. and since im not really taking her out i was wondering if i should pay for her. money isnt a problem for me or anything but i just dont want to sound like im desperate to pay for her. and i have no clue if your supposed to or not??

Just go up before her at the ticket stand and ask for 2 tickets. I don't think she'll mind, just because you pay doesn't necessarily mean it's a date. If she declines and says, no I'll pay for it, then say no, and if she says no again, let her.
Girls are confusing.

Yes, pay for her ticket, just to be a gentleman. I was in a situation like that a couple of years ago. I asked a guy to go to the movies, and he accepted; I was going to pay my own way, and I expected him to also, because we made the arrangements on a friendship basis. He ended up paying my way, and after that, it ended up that he really liked me too and was glad that I asked him to go. Good luck, pay for the ticket, no matter what. Just be a gentleman.

Since she asked you, and it sounds like a double date, I'd expect her to pay for her ticket and your's as well. I certainly wouldn't ask a guy out and then expect him to pay the bill, that'd be pretty rude of me. Go ahead and let her get the tickets, but you be sure to get drinks and popcorn or whatever.

Just go up to the window, ask for 2 tickets and see what she says...if she declines, you insist but if she continues to insist on paying for herself respect that decision but let her know the offer for you to pay still stands and ask if you can buy her popcorn.

Be the gentleman and pay. If she insists to pay that's OK, but when she pays, tell her that she has to let you pay when the two of you go out by yourselves in the next week or so.

Play safe, call her and ask her if she mind if you pay, tell her that you are thankfull for the invitation and you want to pay hers as a gesture. If you don't ask her on advance you run the risk of playing dumb in front of everyone if she makes a scene to pay for herself (Girls! who can understand them?). On the other side she might not mind if you want to do it. So ask her; that will also give you an excuse to talk to her.

Pay for the girl! She'll think it's sweet if she even notices. And don't you think it would be awkward if she doesn't have any money with her and your expecting her to pay? So be prepared to pay and if she wants to pay that's fine but don't be cheap!

if money isn't a problem i would wait until i got to the ticket counter to bring it up. very casually when you are getting your tickets, wait and see if she digs for cash. if not just pay for it like you knew you were going to all along. it's tacky to ask if she's getting her own. a classier move would be to spring for everyone's just to be safe. when everyone refuses tell them they can buy the popcorn candy and sodas.

If you think you want to pay for her, pay for her. As you have said that you do not mind at all. So be a gentleman, just pay for her.
