Should YA have a section just for teenagers? Do they belong in 'singles and dating'? I read the worst crap from them, and they are just babies! I feel BAD they have to try to 'grow' up and deal with SEX and DRUGS and IDIOTS, when their parents should be THERE for them. They seem to be reaching out to ANYBODY... Should we petition YA for it?

Why shouldn't they be in this section, you lunatic? (hehe) And yes...like all of us they are reaching out. Don't put them in a section with just teens...they will then be getting only "teen advise"....and that would NOT be a pretty sight!!!
I grew up in a time when my biggest problem was ,"Where did I put my Davy Crockett hat?" Or...."Why can't GUNSMOKE be on more than once a week?" Today's teens have huge issues all around them......keep their questions in the forum where adults are frequenting...they stand at least a CHANCE of a mature person responding to them.
(Crikey!! I do go on and on.)

I knew ppl such as you while i became that age. They have been given a similar responses. you're correct nevertheless yet while somebody is deep right into a undeniable existence type or passionate some specific concern, while somebody else factors out what's clearly incorrect with it, they get at a loss for words bcuz they don't comprehend why you are the way you're. They in all risk even prefer they understood so they'd do what you do. certainly, all people who's doing it has their very very own reason(s) for doing so. All i will say is that childrens wanna substitute into adults sooner or later, and that they like somebody they like to proportion their lives with and that they think of they comprehend what they're doing and the thank you to do it, yet they of course do no longer. i'd desire to declare, although, that it is not lust, notwithstanding if it did end a pair weeks later..and that they'd't all only prefer to get laid the two bcuz they do no longer all get laid. possibly infatuation nevertheless. I mean, in case you don't comprehend you, how are you able to be so beneficial you're in love w/ somebody else? they actually don't comprehend what love is.

We should be sensitive to their need for guidance I am sixty years old and I find their questions charming. The fact that they are asking proves that ALL teens aren't know it all drug addicts with a bad attitude.

They are asking if it is okay to kiss, or should they call someone and does he really like me. The same things that we all wondered about,. As for the ones dealing with sex, drugs and idiots then we should be especially kind for they need guidance the most. They have restored my faith in the youth of today.

If they can't communicate with parents and teachers we can at least be a mature and caring sounding board. Always mindful to refer them to local authority figures should they need more than a simple written answer.

I also think we should not think that because they are young that their problems are that much different than our own. Don't we all deal with complicated issues and just wish that there were a magic answer that would make us comfortable in the alien world we woke up in this morning? A little compassion for the youngsters among us if you please.

No, the beauty of answers is that anyone can ask anything and take or leave the advice given. They like the fact that older people are here to offer advice for their situations and many benefit from it being just the way it is. You don't like it then post somewhere else.

It's singles and dating, meaning it's for teenagers who are confused on if this guy or this girl likes them because they keep looking at them in math class.

I take ur not a teenager. Teenagers lie about pretty much everything on the Internet, there's not much that can b done because they'll find ways to get past it.

Y!Answers is for cyber networking and fun. Do not see a need to segretate between adults and teens. It could confuse those who wish to post their questions not sure under which category should it go to. What it is now is perfect!

I agree...it makes me so sad that I'm reading "am I pregnant" and "what is your first time like and how do I make it special" posts from 14 year olds. Or posts where idiot teenagers are encouraging their peers to "just do" ridiculous things.

Something should be done.
