God is something alot do not find, and alot do not see. God is perfection beyond reason. God is love in action. God is one and god is all, God is everything you see, God is what causes your heart to beat what causes the winds to blow, God is what causes things to grow, and things to not grow. All your blessings from this life come from God. All your pain comes from not trying to find the Kindgom, Now if you lead a pleasurable life Be thankful to God, by having mercy upon you do not know nor care about. Christ said so you have done it to the least of my children So you have done it to ME. You reap what you sew. Imbed that in your mind and FEAR god. The weight on a person is great, The deception is far greater. You will only learn if you admitt to yourself that you KNOW NOTHING. This is why christ said study yourself
you do not know who you are, Nor do you know where you are. It is a world of the blind being lead by the blind OPEN YOUR EYES AND YOUR MIND, and think seriously think.
Peace be with you

First of all God can not be defined. He is formless, yet he can come embodied. He is attribute less, yet for the sake of humanity, he can come with an attribute. For example Lord Narasima came out of a pillar to kill Hiranyakashibu. At that time He was very much ferocious to look at. Only after propitiation by Prahlada He could regain his calm posture. God is Love, God is the self of all. God is Pure consciousness. God is a pure witness. He never reacts to the happenings of the illusory world. nagarajan.

In the movie Rudy the priest said something like this: There are 2 things I know for sure about God. One is that He does exist and the other is that I am not He. I guess he was insinuating that everything else is up for discussion.

When this question was asked to one of my religion professors in college, he replied, "Who do you want Him to be today?"

Discussions about this question have been going on for centuries and I do not know if we are any closer to the answer now as then. Perhaps before we can begin to answer that question we had better know who we are.

God is everything .
In my view , Our Parents are god.

The one who help others without seeking any profit .
the one who is having mercy on others.
The one who loves his/her enemies also.
The one who thinks all good and positive on others .
These qualities will bring close to god .

God is mighty personality. He is creator , preserver and destroyer . He's been described as everything from an impersonal life-force to a benevolent, personal, almighty Creator.
