Ya know, I'm a regular and I've been around here long enough to observe.

So why is there these people who provoke others and start hatemongering, making people hate each other, stating lies and deceit, bashing each others religion, instead of spreading love, peace, harmony and equality?

All of us can live in peace, muslims, christians, jews, atheists, buddhists, hindus,

So what if my friend doesn't believe in my religion, it's his choice. Whatever I may say won't change his mind, so I respect that and leave him alone, instead of preaching I might as well preach harmony and peace.

Still, even though I try very hard to maintain this harmony, there are some people who are spread hatred by lies, hypocrites, and ruins everything for everyone. There isn't much of these people, but they affect the whole thing.

So why?

Why must there be such people that wants to hate and want others to hate as well?

Why do people listen to them?

Why can't we just get along?

I agree with you but this is yahoo answers and it's also late at night, you have a bunch of people on here, a lot of them bored and lonely, and they find it fun to pick a few fights. A lot of times a person on here will rub another person the wrong way and they will "spark" off in their answers, I'll admit I'm guilty of it myself every now and then. We're only human and I guess human nature wouldn't be complete without some sort of conflict.

It certainly is odd. I presume they feel they get something out of it. Perhaps it's a power thing? Perhaps they are frustrated in their own lives because no-one listens to them so they come on here where they can post what they like and it's up there for everyone to read.

I could go on guessing but I think it's pointless. It's like terrorists. I'm no longer convinced (to my deep regret) that most of us can actually understand what drives their behaviour.

I certainly doubt it's very much to do with any religion they may espouse. Pride, hatred, bigotry and hypocrisy don't feature in any of the belief systems I am aware of.

I agree with out of the gray. It is best to ignore them. It may not work, but why fuel the fire when you don't have to?

My guess is:

People are bored and they just want to start trouble.
They are angry and use this site to take out their frustrations.

They don't talk to people they know in this manner, but they enjoy doing it when they can remain anonymous.

God bless you for wanting to spread peace and harmony. That is what God truly wants of all of us. My advice is this. When someone makes a comment ( question or answer) which is for the purpose of provoking people and making them mad, we should all just ignore it and not give them the attention they want. And if it is truly insulting, don't respond to it, just report it. That should help bring and end to that sort of thing.

Peace and harmony to you, my friend.

The world is made up of all different kinds of people. It is our varieties that keeps going. Don't worry about people who are disagreeable, if nothing else they can serve as a reminder of how happy you are where you are at and hopefully they will mellow in time and seek harmony as well.

Blessed Be )O(

I personally think that these people just seek attention. They'll do anything that they can do to turn heads or grab someone's attention, even if it's negative. You definitely said it, "they affect the whole thing". I think that this is their end, rather than actually sending a certain message. Sadly in this world, hatred and violence receives more attention than love and peace, so this is what they preach.

Some people feel better when they make fun of others. It is how they raise their self-esteem.

You make a very good point, but please understand that this is a facet of human nature. People are not perfect, and it is in our nature to want to be better than somebody else. This leads to ridicule and hate. All we can do is continue to show them peace and love. One day they will see the error of their ways and join us. Peace and love cannot die.

The ppl that you are talking about just want to make everyone uncomfortable.
I try not to let them effect me, I will sometimes go to a different forum to relax or just turn off comp. Usually its about time to get off comp anyway.

Because we evolved from a tribal scenario -- we have an instinctive sense of 'Self', 'Group', and 'Other'. In the wild, 'Group' and 'Other' are often at war over resources. Conflict is the natural state.

There will never be world peace, because mankind is intrinsically oriented towards conflict.

There are no stopping them. Either we entertain them just to waste time or ignore them totally!

Life isn't all love, peace and harmony but conflict, violence and death too.
