Believe it or not some people actually deserve the death penalty.

When someone is in a poweful position like being the president, like Bush is in right now, words like morality take on a different meaning.

I'm not Christian, but I believe that there's an important Christian principle that says "thall shall not kill". If Bush is the hardcore Christian that he claims to be, I'm sure that he's aware of this principle as well. However, he's also aware that there's a significant portion of the population who's for the death penalty; in fact while he was th governor of Texas, he was the country's leading administor of the death penalty. Most politicians try to make sure that being tough on crime is is part of their legacy, and I'm sure Bush wants that as well and for many people, being tough on crime means not being afraid to use the death penalty.

Bush doesn't give them the death penalty - the legal system allows/requires it.

It isn't ok and it isn't christian. If you ask me, Bush is more than a little crazy. He likes to play with his toy soldiers even though he is playing with real lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I think that the presidents should have to go to war and get in it just like the past kings, and Pharaohs did. Back then a ruler wasn't afraid to get a scratch on his finger.

I don't think Bush or the U.S. is using the death penalty enough. Drug dealers, rapists, child abusers, and cold blooded murderers should all be put to death. Let God decide if they deserve another chance. Yes I believe in God and I think He's sad that we still allow these people to roam freely on the Earth.

It is ok because he is President but it isn't ok because he is also another human being who ruins lives in his country (the soldiers being deported to hell of war) and also ruining the lives of those abroad (the poor Afghanistanis whose lives are in rubble and violence.)

War and the death penalty are both wrong in my opinoin. They are just legalized murder.

Anyone who is not a wicked murder, convicted by a jury, condemned according to law, has anything to worry about. Same goes for anyone not trying to kill American soldiers.
