This is because some of them specially jews are off the right way that god wants so they are hated by those who are on the right way ........
Also when we say that all of them are coming from god so it's better to follow the latest religion came from heaven ( I mean Islam ) which respects the others and admit the message of all prophets sent by god
The bad things both christians and jews do are
1- jews said that god is not able to beat them down and he is tight-fisted
2- Christians said that god has a son and wife who share his kingdom
both of them are talking impolitely about god so they deserve what they got from him.

They share a lot because all three point to the same God. Islam is the religion created by a family feud. Two brothers of a Jewish family. One was accepted and blessed and the other was not. The descendants of the one that was not formed Islam. Christianity began as Jews who believed that Jesus Christ was the promised mesaiah.
What might explain the animosity between them? A long time ago people of each group looked down on the others and I guess over time that feeling just snowballed. It is right? NO. It just is.

I have same thoughts as yours. A lot of deaths, bloodshed, and violence comes from religion differences but yet I don't understand how they can fight while all the religions include love, peace, and respect for their God.
I would say it is because some religious people (I'm not saying all do because many DO aknowledge the peace and similarities in all religions, especially the facts in the Muslim and Christian religion) do not aknowledge the similarities and if they do they make excuses that those similarities are actually very different.

Man created religion... God didn't. He set commandments for man to live by, but they are not called "religion". Anything that man creates is succeptible to errors, therefore not perfect. The animosity does not stem from the religion itself, but rather than the selfishness of man. Leaders who spur violence between any of the groups are powerhungry, or simply seeking their own ends, rather than that of God. The other group backlashes with more violence and hatred. If these leaders were really leading with God's word, than they would simply turn the other cheek, or at least not fight violence with violence.

For me, I think that all religions are the same, throughout history and even today. There are the minor differences that these people couldn't agree on, and start arguing... Still, the principles of EACH religion are ALMOST EXACTLY the same, as far as I know... It's just a pity that all these religion wars happened...

Well Sis, the problem is the Religion is the Religion the Followers are just that. Followers. Its the Religion that is perfect in its self, but the people are not perfect. They try to follow by the system, just because a jew or a muslim commit a crime doesnt mean their religion is bad, its their choice, free will, and only wisdom will breed maturity and understanding. Just remember its two different things the religion and the follower.

well i can explain the history between muslims and christians
it started with Abraham having a child with his wife's maid, Hagar. His name was Ishmael. Ishmael was a different kind of child and Sarah, Abrahams wife didnt like him and had him and his mother sent away. This caused conflict between Ishmael and Isaac, Abraham's beloved son. Ishmael had 12 sons and started the Ishmaelites, a tribe that moved to what is now modern day Iraq (muslims) and the descendants of Isaac are christians.

Jesus!
In Matthew 10:34; Jesus says; But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Hebrew 4:12; For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
In reality? Sin. But, today, sin is no big deal.

How often do you actually see people of those faiths practicing those values? They tend to focus on the violence, rather than peace or love. If they could bring the focus back to love, I don't think there'd be as many problems.
Love is all that matters.

Each one thinks they are right. Ignorance doesn't help either. Religion and government aren't separated in some other countries, which can cause conflict with those of differing religious beliefs. And don't forget the battle over land ownership.
