Hanging out at a cafe, I see this guy every once in a while, we say hello and give warm smiles. I've noticed him looking at me, sometimes giving double-takes when I walk in and take a seat.
I was working on my laptop and from the corner of my eye, he comes around and peeks over to see what I'm doing.
Do you think that's a sign of flirting? If not, was he ever flirting? The guy is probably in his early 30's or so.

I cant believe some of the answers you are getting...
he is obviously attracted to you, but not necessarily flirting, there is a mutual attraction... you have some sort of connection with this guy and you need to follow it through, he may have an important life lesson to teach you.... don't pass up the opportunity to talk to him next time. You may become amazing friends or he could be the link to an amazing career path... you never know until you try!

sounds like this guy is shy and whats to connect with you on some kind of social level, or you have a fatal attraction on your hands if he creeps you out just go about your normal routines and he will drift away or if he dont creep you out some times ya gotta make that move. open up to him a little who knows he might just be lonesome or doesnt know how to communicate with ya due to bad experiences of his past whether they be his fault or not. find out about him ya never know you could have something in common who knows but be carefull know your limits on what to do and say so he dont get the wrong idea or picture

Be careful these days, keep in public venue til you figure him out. 21st century, but a wolf whistle is sexual harassment. What's a guy to do? You have to make the next step. He's shown an interest, you'll have to figure where it leads to.

Probably. But he appears to be intimidated and therefore, since he hasn't made a formal approach after numerous meetings, then he has lost his chance. Maybe try another cafe if you don't feel comfortable in his presence. Good luck!

what we guys tend to do is act like we are looking at what your doing, but we really would be looking at something else. (i say this with general shame, but that is how it is if you show good stuff). 30s = maybe more mature than i am with different mentality (im 18 :D).

Well he's definitely interested you. Why don't you strike up a conversation one of these days? He might just be trying to get up the nerve to actually talk to you.

Maybe he was checking to see if you are taken. The flirting will be more obvious if he feels your single.Make it clear either way.
