I tried it, wasn't sure if it was working or not. It was hard to tell if it was psychological- hunger is subjective. If overeating is your problem then give it a go, but if its not a ravenous appetite that your issue its not worth it because it will make limited difference. You would be better off trying green tea tablets to speed your metabolism in that case. Personally, i have found taking fibre supplements (not in tablet form- but a drink of FibreCleanse or something similar better. Coffee is also a really good appetite supressant- just dont overdo it! These two options are much cheaper than hoodia! Also, the dose needed of hoodia is not really concrete so you may be taking up to 6 or 8 a day, and my bottle lasted me only about 10 days. Then what do you do? You cant be on this stuff for the rest of your life. It may be a good kick start though. Hope this has helped!

I have been using Hoodia on and off for several months now and for me I have seen good results.

There are however, dozens of brands on the market and each contain a different amount of hoodia and some contain fillers.

When your at the store or looking online read the label carefully.
Make sure that there is a certificate (usually a small text label) that guaranteed that you are getting 100% south Africian hoodia gordonii as there are other hoodias available but only the hoodia gordonii version grown in south Africa will give you the best results.

The next thing to check for on the label is additives. Many companies will add different herbs to cut the amount of Hoodia or add a diuretic so that you see weight loss from water that you have been retaining. Now there is nothing wrong with losing water weight but your really looking for fat loss not water loss.

Also if the bottle has outrageous claims like you can lose 10 pounds in 1 week--run away quickly. It's not true and if the label isn't true then you know what's inside the label is not the true hoodia.

There are also choices in hoodia or pills, capsules and liquid. I prefer the liquid since it goes to work faster (think about when you've got a strong craving for some type of junk food) and it more of it actually gets digested compared to a pill.

You also want to look for a money back guarantee. Before I found the brand that I like best, I did try several well known brands without the results that I was looking for. If there is a money back guarantee you won't find yourself wasting money if your first brand does not work well for you. Like anything else you purchase you'll find a brand that you like, but it may take you a few tries to get there.

However if you check the label throughly you'll avoid any knock-offs.

Good luck!

Yep. It just makes it so you are not so hungry. It does NOT make you jittery or anything. I lost 5 lbs the first week.
