i had my son in may and was breastfeeding him till november. i know its normal not to get your period while breastfeeding but how long does it take to get it once you have stopped. its now in the middle of march, that means i havent had a period for 4 months since i have stopped breastfeeding. is this normal?

i am not on anybirth contol. i am not pregnant. technically i havent had a period 10 months, but 6 of those months i was breastfeeding

Are you on any birth control pills that could also be effect your period from returning?I know that i didn`t have a period for 8 months while i was breast feed my son, and my periods were irregular also due to the depo shot. If your not on any birth control you might want to go get check out by your doctor.

when u breastfeed it makes ur uterus contract. it also helps ur stomach shrink back down to pre pregnancy size. bleeding after breastfeeding isnt abnormal but u should report it to ur doctor so he/she knows what's going on with your body and can explain exactly what is going on in better detail :D

Take a pregnancy test if it's negative, yes it's normal.

It took me two months.

Its is diffrent to every women tho
