Eat at least 3000 clean calories daily, big breakfast, snack, big lunch, snack, moderate dinner, break it down to six meals everyday, still do your push ups and keep lifting weight till you reach failure on each set, don't go crazy technique is really important, give the 5 seconds rule in each rep and rest only a minute btw reps... give it a month or two i guarantee you will see your arms getting bigger and stronger... do cardio only 3 times a week to keep your heart healthy, remember in order to get bigger you will have to gain weight and that could mean some belly for you... once you keep the size you want do lots of cardio, keep eating a bit less of you've eating but this time focus on protein.. you will keep the muscle and loose the fat you gain... all this could be a bit expensive though.. good luck

If you want to get bigger you have to gradually increase the amount of weights and be working all the different muscles. Are you lifting for your chest (up, middle, lower), the different muscles in your shoulders, your arms, and your back? You also have to lift to the point of exhaustion to see the best results, and keep the reps somewhere between 8-10. If you can do more than that then you need to increase your weights. When I say exhaustion I mean to the point where you are telling your arms to move, but they cannot move anymore.. That's where you'll get major gains, which is the last rep. That is why it's good to have someone spot you since you can go all out and not worry about droping the weights on yourself.
It's also a good idea to take some type of protein drink or something within 30 minutes of your workout. Some trainers will say you should drink this every day to get enough protein, but opinions vary.
Building muscle takes a lot of time to, from my experience. You'll need to train A LOT if you want to get REALLY big.
I don't think just doing pushups is going to make you bigger, since you are never pushing your muscles to be able to handle heaver weights. As a result, they stay the same size. Doing 100 pushups at once won't make you bigger either...It will make you stronger and have more stamina, but not necessarily bigger.
On a personal experience note, I was pretty small to. Then I started hitting the gym 2-3 times for 1-2 hours (each time) a week. After a year, I can say that I've gotten bigger. Not A LOT bigger, since my workout only allowed me to hit every muscle group only once a week. Another factor was that I don't have anyone to spot me, so it's hard for me to get the last rep in unless I use freeweights....I can be lazy too sometimes :-p.
Anyways, hope this helps.

I had the same problem.
You've reached a plateau where it's hard for you to grow muscle.
Eat a lot of protein
and workout a lot:
for building muscle, you want to reach failure as quick as you can, rather than doing a bunch of reps and burning out.
If you have a set of irons at home, try to do 3-5 of the most heaviest you think you can take.

try training your bigger muscle groups first.Legs,chest,shoulders,biceps.And you must use weight resistance training in most cases to build muscle mass.Intensity and determination are the 2 biggest factors as it will take a little more time if you're not predispositioned to put on muscle.

to build muscle you have to work your muscles to where they rip and bleed inside your body. gross as it may seem, then let them rest for a day to build up and heal over; thus' they will get stringer and bigger so workout every other day of the week, and eat lots of preotein!!! hope this helps
