I'm moving to France and would like an option to flying my dogs over.. ...does anyone know if any cruise lines serving French ports from the US (Florida would be great)accept dogs besides the QM2 and QE2.Cargo Lines that take passengers would work too.

Best suggestion ship through cargo......you wouldn't want your dog on the ship, they dont cater to that, you dog deserves more then "who will take my dog"..........my dog goes cargo but I pay more for him to shipped first class.......
He's my best friend....cost $1300

If it's a service dog, you'll be able to take one in the cabin with you. Just did that. Otherwise, I suggest cargo on a plane, too. Less trauma for the dogs. You will need to provide proof of the dogs shot record and registration showing the dog is a trained service dog. That needs to be faxed to the cruise line within 30 days of the departure so they know the shots are current. The problem you may have is taking the dogs into a foreign country to live or stay. Most places want to quarantine them.

I have been on over 15 cruises on several lines and never seen anyone with a dog, not even a guide dog and its my understanding that they do not accept pets on ships.

Either way the animals are kept in kennels and not let out...for safety reasons.
