before getting beaten to death by fellow inmate Scarver. Do you think someone of his caliber can do such rotten things, repent and get to Heaven?

Wouldn't you have to agree though, that out of all the borderline Heaven-bound people in the world, he would probably have the least chance of getting there out of all of them? Don't you consider him along the lines of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Caligula, Ivan the Terrible, Henry Lucas, Charles Manson etc..?

Let me give you an analogy:
You're walking along a beach, and you see a tiny hole, about the size of a quarter, that was dug by a small crab. You keep walking, and see a fairly big hole dug by a little child. After you keep walking, you see a giant ditch dug by a bulldozer. Although one hole is so much bigger than the others, when the tide comes in, they're all filled up the same. It doesn't matter how big a person's sin is; Jesus' grace will fill them all up the same. If anyone tells Jesus that they're sorry and accept His cleansing sacrifice, they'll go to heaven. If Jeffrey Dahmer believed in Christ before he died, then it's a sure thing I'll see him in heaven someday.

Well one of the reason that I think the whole repenting thing is a crock of (you full in the blank). I guess Jeffrey was all a part of the big ole design but as long as you find God at the end of it all, it will make up for it. Tell that to the victims parents..........wonder what they think about that?

Sometimes, when I actually read these things back I realize how can anyone in thier right mind not see how bad this is. Doesn't matter what religion you are, just think about it for a moment............Does any God have a right to even do this? Or can they even justify this?

Some might say well God told us he was jealous, etc. etc. The he should have known not to create us in the first place then.

If I thought for one minute what I was creating was going to turn into some creature from hell, is it not my obligation to re-consider and not do it? Then if I do it, it is also not my responsibility to fix it after and not just say well creature do what you will and I hope you will listen to me and change your mind and be a good creature and well if ya don't ill forgive ya and love ya anyway? Sorry for the billion people I hurt along the way...........

I can see it now the two responses I will get, we do not have a right to question God......to this I say, why not? The second one will be, we have free will, God never said to do that with it..............well maybe we should not have free will then, we are not GOD and we cannot obviously handle it and have never been able to.................he gave it, he can take it away too, so what's the point then..............there isn't one.

Jeffrey Dahmer was a very sick individual. A result of a poor environment and genes. I think it is possible that any person can go to Heaven. While I detest such horrific crimes inflicted on people, we must realize that he had tremendous problems. I believe that he could go to Heaven if he were to repent and not act upon such horrid impulses he had.

I grew up a Baptist and we were always taught that ANYONE who truly repents and accepts Jesus as his savior will go to Heaven...So I guess Dahmer or even Hitler could wind up in Heaven if they sincerely repent...The only ones who knows if someone truly repents is the sinner and GOD.

Don't know his heart condition before he died, only God knows. If his conversion words did not match his heart, then God will judge him accordingly. The example of someone who was a sinner and went to heaven is the one thief on the cross who was repentant to Jesus and Jesus promised Him Heaven. Doesn't matter your past as long as you truly believe, repent, and Love Jesus with all your heart. God is love and so merciful!

There is no sin that cannot be forgiven if truly repented of, and if Jesus is accepted as that person's savior.

Only God knows if this was so with Jeffrey Dahmer.

Not for me to say. I have no idea what the state of his soul/salvation was at the time he died. Only God knows and only God decides.

P.S. Addition: What you are suggesting is what is meant by Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, the one sin Jesus tells us will not be forgiven in this age, nor the next (See Gospel of Matthew) In short, you allude to the meaning that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross is inadequate to pay for all of mankinds' sins. When Jesus permitted himself to be nailed to the Cross, it was to pay for ALL sin, for ALL men, for ALL time. Not everyone will benefit from the sacrifice for failure on their part to repent, but the price paid is enough to cover it.

Hmmm he was "re-baptized" anyone that re-baptizes someone who has been baptized already in a Christian religion is not following the Christian tenent of faith of ONE baptism.

No double dipping according to the doctrine of Christianity as set down by the World Council of Churches and the World Council of Reformed Churches.

But it is for God to judge his eternal soul, not me.

Yes, absolutely. What is required to enter heaven is to repent for your sins (of course only God knows if your heart is sincere in it or not) and accept Jesus as your savior. All sins are forgiven when forgiveness is asked for with a sincere heart and we change our behavior, but we of course cannot say to ourselves "I'll do this now and ask for forgiveness later"...doesn't work that way. However, if he committed what he did and had a change of heart and underwent a sincere religious transformation, accepted Jesus, and repented for his sins, then yes, he is absolutely in heaven.
