This president with his comraddes, has taken us into a war that was based on lies. Yes Saddamm was evil, but how in the world is just conquering Baghdad gonna end terrorism in all of middle east ? The majority of our troops are in Iraq. Lesser amounts in the other countries where the terror cells are still strong and recruiting more daily We are terribly out numbered, and mismanaged. This war has already cost billions, & will cost more & more each year it lasts. Not to mention the cost in lives all over the world This man thinks he can use executive priveledge to basically run this war & country all by himself. I beleive we voted for change in '06, not so much to ruin usa, or to cut & run. But to bring a change to this endless quagmire. Yet every view different from his is shot down . Both Stalin & Hitler lost soldiers by the thousands and declared victory. I can't see a win with Bush :(

We're Americans! We'll get through those 2 years. I know it. It will be hard, but we'll get there.

We criticize our president yet really the presidency isn't about what he had done but what is really good for the country. I am sure the president wants the best for the country and as a veteran, I am proud to say that he had done a hella of job. Really, why should we look at the presidency when really we should look at what led us there. The government is a whole body of a team and really instead of helping ourselves. We need solutions to work together rather against each other. I just can't wait for the next election of how it is going to turn out. Bottom line... He is our president, weather we like it or not. He is there for a reason. We are Americans that supports our leadership and we have check and balances to sort everything out. What's done is done... It is in the past, we look to today and the future to move forward and learn from our mistakes. He is doing fine and whoever is in the presidency; I will support as if we lose hope in our leadership, we lose the strength in us. We all bleed the same, but with all the talks in the media and people, why don't you do it yourself and run for presidency. I don't think you'll even get close to all the decision he had made. I bleed American, YES! I don't agree w/half the things happening in this world but doesn't mean I'll lose faith in us. Our troops are out there for a reason, we don't see them dropping arms for losing faith in our presidency. They are out there stronger and fighting for what they believe. You think G. Washington or A. Lincoln had it easy? GW is a cake walk in making decision compare to theirs. If stop believing in our leadership. Where do you think this country will be now? Hail to our KING? You think?

I can't tell you how sick i am of seeing the word "quagmire." Use another one, for God's sake! Use marsh, use mess, use fiasco, just stop using quagmire! You're making yourself look like you don't know what you're talking about, only what US News tells you to think.
The USA can survive two more years by electing a Democratically controlled Congress and giving the President a fight for every inch. That's about it.

I think the American problem will continue for years after Bush going to hell. US has created hatred, terror and the desire to avenge for decades. US has succeeded in what Hitler failed in ,fill the whole earth with chaos and hatred. Tell me how do the Iraqi people feel now and after so many years . The Americans think that their money will amend everything but life isn't always like that.

How can the United States survive two more years of Bush politics?

With a good sense of humor (and some alcoholic beverages wouldn't hurt).

Same way we did the last 6 years. Quit whining. Had you rather have a pervert in the office like the one before? Sheesh!

So, in all that diatribe, where's the question? Can we survive two more years of Bush? Sure. We survived Carter and Clinton. Bush will be a cake walk.
