hi im a white ubran middle class kid in chicago. there are lots black kids in my school i think they are so damn cool. i mean they walk around wearing oversized t shirts or hoodies with caps and fancy shoes and shiny blingblings on their necks spitting sick rhymes at will. i think to myself i wanna just be like them. when i grow i want to become a rapper! if not a pimp or a hustler. the problem is ive always been hangout with white kids and we dont mix with other races. should i ditch friends and join my black brothers? what will people think of me? help!

I'm gonna have to agree with half_pint cuz right now i'm feeling the urge to beat yo i wanna be black self mainly cuz you wanna be a stereotype fool you don't wanna be black you wanna be a hoodlum, wack rapper, and a wanna be pimp not to mention a fool who couldn't sell a dime for a nickel. you mean to tell me that every black kid in your school dress that way and all can spit sick rhymes if you gonna admire a black person at least let it be the ones you have some sense less time i check Jordan couldn't spit sick rhymes or wear ridculiously oversized clothes but the man owns the shoe industry who else you know can just put their name on a shoe and have fools lining up to spend $200 dollars just for a pair and a shiny metal box I mean what about donald trump you think he sits back and wanna be black that man is about making is money not worrying if he can spit a stupid rhyme
I mean if you wanna be black at least let be for something understandable like you wanna be bigger in the love area FOOL :)

i mean if youo really want to be a rapper, pimp or hustler and possibly get beaten and people saying **** to you more power to you, bob aint gonna stop you. even though the black kids at your school probobly aint like that, bob would advise keep your white friends and go with your black brothers, but if your white friends get in the way dump em, people will call you a lot of things probobly just wigger, but dont let the white devil or anyone for that matter put you down. remember bob got yo back.

what you should do is identify with the group you fit into. If you like the style of another ethnicity and are accepted into their culture as an equal, enjoy. Participate where accepted and where you are comfortable. Remember that also when you associate with a group there are people that have a real hard time understanding what you are doing and will offer their rendition of why you are doing it based on their following not their individualism. Good for you but there might be a price to pay so prepare yourself.

to us a white guy who just fakes it is annoying & a sad case.
U can wear baggy clothes-cool, have the bling-cool but be yourself man we'll except u.
Dont try &talk with our twang cause it just sounds crazy on u. &prove yourself (which will be tough), if u have our back in a situation we will have urs
So if ur crowd of friends is not who u are anymore, try &mix, its gona be difficult but dont give up (we will pick it up): but important, personality wise, BE YOURSELF!!!

I ain't black, I'm a combined north african, born and raised external (2d gen direct, 4th gen oblique). often i wish to get again to aid my ****** however i bear in mind how unhealthy that situation is. i wish to convey the little portions of the skillz and different stuffs i will get and go back to aid it prosper once more... you recognize why africa's so deficient. good it wasn't rather a while in the past. europe and asia came around, they took our sh!t, and now they wish to 'aid' us by way of givin it us again. wow truly well persons :(

lol i think its kinda funny that u admire black kid so much! dont get me wrong im mixed black/white, but i dont think u have to ditch ur friends to be who u want to be. If they are ur true friends they will respect u, if not forget them. Do what u want, and be who you are. live ur life to the fullest, and dont regret things, because later ur gonna wonder wat if
