I want to volunteer by creating art for children in hospitals. I saw a website for something like this once.?

For instance if the child likes Spiderman I can easily draw it, or the child, their pet..etc Any ideas?

I suggest that you contact your local volunteer center. They can put you in touch with agencies that match your interests. For example, through my volunteer center, I have worked at a similar project that creates arts & crafts for our local children's hospital.

That's a great idea to do something like that for kids. Try the local hospitals in your area. Many have websites and volunteer coordinators.
