i remember flipping through a teen magazine a few weeks ago and came across a product to put on your hair before you straighten it to prevent heat damage. What are names of some that i can find at walgreens?

I don't know what it would be at walgreens but if you go to a salon, CHI heat protection. It is amazing. About 20 dollars. Ive had mine for about 2 months and i don't know how i lived without it. I use it every day and i still have about 1/2 a bottle. Good value. If your stuck on walgreens, go, and ask. Hope i helped. Good luck.

Honey, here's something I wish somebody would have told me. Don't go to Walgreen's, walmart, or somewhere that is going to sell you some cheap crap, cause it won't work. I found that out only after I realized that my hair was being damaged, and I went to ULTA and got this CHI heat protectant spray and it has worked miracles on my hair. It makes my hair silky and healthy looking without weighing it down. It's better to spend a few more dollars on something that will work, then to waste money on products that won't.

I don't know about walgreens but you can find a lot of great products at a beauty supply store or salon. I love Matix Essentials Instacure Leave-in. Wella and Clariol make good ones too. Look for anything that says 'thermal, uv protect, protector'.
