Ankh. The Ankh is a representation of life. You are inspired by life, and all its splendor, and you feel you are empowered by your symbol.

It's pretty complicated, but it could form the basis for a really nice design. I suspect that a tattoo artist will want to simplify and streamline some of the background detail a bit, though, to make for a better tattoo.

I know what an ankh is; I used to wear one for years on a necklace. I think it's a nice symbol to get as a tattoo, but be prepared to explain it to people who don't recognise it, on a regular basis! That goes for all tattoos, though; people always want to know what they 'mean'.

The only other thing I'd say is that the shape of this design - fairly long and thin - looks to me slightly more suited to going on, say, your upper arm than on your shoulder. Some tattoos work better in certain locations than others, and often the best matches are where the shape of the tattoo mirrors the shape of the body. This shape, to me, says 'upper arm'. Maybe it'd be worth trying out... personally what I always do, when planning a new tattoo, is to literally draw it on and see how it looks, whether I need to change the size or location, and so on. I often find that I need to change my ideas slightly to get a result I'm really happy with.

But I don't mean to say that there's any overriding reason why you 'mustn't' get it on your shoulder; in fact, I'd stand by your right to choose to have it wherever you want. If you want it on your shoulder, go for it.

Hope this helps!

It's beautiful, a lot of color.
You will need a really great
artist to pull it off. It is a bit
busy and complicated.
Don't know what part of

I like the design but the colors are going to be a little too much for a tattoo. Make sure you're getting the tattoo because it has meaning to you and always will. If you get it for that reason , others reactions won't matter much. :) Hope I've been of some help.

The absolute nice technique to flip him on is to shock him. Make the transfer on him in an wonderful position or atmosphere. Break any scheduling conduct you might have additionally. The extra you speak approximately it, he'll generally develop uncomfortable. If you play the feminist factor of view...He isn't going to head for it.

it's a pretty common tattoo. i personally wouldn't get it but if that's what you want then go for it! just don't get it in solid black. all of them are and they are so generic looking. get something more fancy so it will stand out.

Seems great! But, who cares how other people react? It's your body, go with it if it feels right.
