Turn down the temperature and cook longer than the time listed. Your oven got too hot. Make sure to keep an eye on them, if they look like they are still cooking unevenly, lower the temp more. Hope I helped:)

I don't know what kind of mini oven you have, but if it's the same thing as a toaster oven, then it's behaving more like a broiler than a regular (convection) oven. For successful cookies, the heat has to surround the cookies; if the heat element is only inches above or below the cookies, they'll be partially burnt, no matter what.

In a regular oven, 350 degrees shouldn't be too hot to bake cookies (375 is about average).

Sounds like your oven was running a little too hot - it might of said 350 degrees on the dial but may have actually been much hotter.

Also, if you were trying to bake in something like a toaster oven - the cookies were way too close to the heat source.

Throw out the cookies and just eat the dough.

i'm not an expert but i have made a few cookies in my day.
if they were burnt and soft it might mean the temp. on your oven was too hot. you see-if your oven is too hot, then the outside of the cookies(the thinest part) will cook fatser and the thick middle wil stay soft. see what i mean?

No expert, but it sounds like your oven is too hot.
Try getting one of those hanging thermostats so that you can get the temp right.
