i was really sick with mono and was stuck at home in my room for about three weeks. after the first week while i was sleeping my boyfriend brought over his xbox and spent his extra time teaching me how to play video games, bringing me ice cream and gummy bears, and keeping me busy so i wouldn't get bored.
he also goes places that he doesn't like because he knows i enjoy it.
he buys me tampons :]
he comes over at every chance he gets just to say hi and give me a hug. i basically love him :]

well, i really like reading, and my favourite genre is fantasy.
fantasy books almost always come in trilogies or more, and since books are quite expensive here, i can only afford to but one at a time. this creates quite a problem, especially when you are juggling more than one story.

well, my boyfriend took the time to look through my books while i was not at home and discover which stories i had not had the complete collection of. one of these was tad williams'
memory, sorrow and thorn. i had the last two book, as i had bought them at a flea market, and i was dying to read the first two. so, for my birthday, he got me those two books.

what is so romantic about this gesture is the amount of thought and time he put into it. the fact that he would rather sit down and sift through my mountain of disarranged books simply to buy me something i might like is makes me appreciate him all the more.

i mean, he could have easily given me the money to buy those two books, but that would not have been half as romantic as this gesture.

the sweetest thing he does is when we go for walks together he allways holds my hand, allways picks me flowers along the way, and allways carries the groceries back home for me so i dont have to. simple considerate gestures like this mean alot to me..
