wow, thanks everyone so much for all of the help and information you've given me...i can confirm that the virus i was thinking of is Epstien Barr. i will be asking my doctor about that, as well as mononucleosis (i apologize for my horendous spelling) and also B12 deficiency. if anyone else has anymore contributing information, i would be more than happy to accept it, therefore, i will leave this open for the time remaining...

again, thankyou everyone who has given me all this information, and so quilckly too...i wasnt sure how long it would take for someone to answer, but im very happy for the help...

and to add...i have looked on a few sites on the internet, but my only results were "viral infection"...which is the same thing ive been getting from other doctors...so, that wasnt much help...ironically...but anyways i couldnt be more appreciative of all this help...hopefully i can get healthy soon.

Symptoms of infectious mononucleosis are fever, sore throat, and swollen lymph glands. Sometimes, a swollen spleen or liver involvement may develop. Heart problems or involvement of the central nervous system occurs only rarely, and infectious mononucleosis is almost never fatal. There are no known associations between active EBV infection and problems during pregnancy, such as miscarriages or birth defects. Although the symptoms of infectious mononucleosis usually resolve in 1 or 2 months, EBV remains dormant or latent in a few cells in the throat and blood for the rest of the person's life. Periodically, the virus can reactivate and is commonly found in the saliva of infected persons. This reactivation usually occurs without symptoms of illness.

Did you ever think that you had a vitamin deficiency ??

Funny thing those vitamins and minerals, if you are deficient in them, you get all sorts of crazy symptoms !! Fatigue and exhaustion are signs of B12 deficiency, so too are irritability, dizziness, depression, chest pains, palpitations, head and hand sweats, headaches, migraines, moodiness, impaired balance and inability to concentrate?? Any of this sound familiar??

Perhaps you have been under a lot of stress lately?? Most likely by the sounds of it. In stressfull situations we need to increase our intake of the B vitamin complex.

You need to increase your intake of foods rich in this vitamin. i.e.: Yeast, liver, eggs, milk, cheese and fish, kidney and pork.

Recommended daily intake for adults is 2mcg. I suggest you go to the chemist and ask the pharmacist to recommend a good quality brand for you to buy. Just ask for a multi B vitamin supplement. Avoid synthetic vitamins as they are too hard to digest.

For B12 to be properly assimilated through the stomach it is necessary to be combined with calcium during absorption to adequately benefit the body.

In the human diet B12 is supplied primarily by animal products, since plant products usually dont contain it.

B 12 vitamins will alleviate the terrible fatigue and exhaustion you feel. It will also increase your energy levels, maintain a healthy nervous system, relieve moodiness and irritability, ease depression, fatigue and exhaustion and improve concentration, memory and balance. Sweating in the head and hands are also symptoms of B12 deficiency.

Do you also have sore lips, mouth and tongue, cracked and splitting skin around your fingernails and grainy and sandy feeling eyes? If so, this is also a vitamin B deficiency, vitamin B2 (Riboflavin). This itamin will be included in the multi B complex supplement that you buy. The recommended daily intake for this vitamin is 1.2 0 1.7mg.

Foods rich in B2 are milk, liver, kidney, cheese, leafy green vegies, fish, eggs, yoghurt and beans.

If you are a vegetarian and have excluded eggs and dairy products from your diet, then you need B12 supplementation. If you keep regular "Happy Hours" and drink a lot, B12 is an important supplement for you. Heavy protein consumers also need extra amounts of this vitamin . B12 works best synergistically with all the other B vitamins hence my advice to get yourself a B complex vitamin supplement.

If you choose to follow my advice you'll be very plesed you did as you will get release from your symptoms within a day or so. In actual fact, you should feel some degree of almost immediate improvement.

BTW, I'm so glad that you came on line to ask for help. I'm so glad that I have been able to give you a bit more knowledge as to your nutritional health. Its just a shame that so many Doctors in the mainstream these days have got no idea about the human dietary needs !!

Is it Embar? Gal, I know but it is not coming to my mind. A friend of mine came down with it and had to leave her accounting job at the bank and draw disability. Have you tried looking up diseases or sleeping diesases on the net? Make sure your doctor takes good care of you and if he/she does not show interest, find one who will.
