Depends some girls would like it, some might not
The romantic girls would like a slow start, an out going one might like to just start talking

I would prefer to take a slow start as I need some times to take off my guard.

yeah... maybe. there was this guy at school that liked me once and he never told me... he just told everyone else.. anyway word of this got around to me eventually.. it was a bit awkward actually... makes u feel weird, he eventually talked to me a bit and one time he gave me his number and wanted me to go to the beach with him on the weekend, i sort of said no politely and never rang him... but we sort of became friends after that... but it kept feeling awkward untill he got over it and i heard he started liked some other girl... which was a relief to me... ! but if i was the one who liked the guy then i wudn't mind wat u described...

I'd like it... Most girls dont like making the first move anyway... I'd be happy he liked me enough to come over and talk to me!
