It's not on the recall list. And my cat loves Friskies canned food, especially the Tunas. Also, I did not see any dried cat foods on the recall list. It was mostly the assorted meat in gravy pouches, several brands, manufactured by several different manufacturers. I have a cat & a dog and I've always mixed wet food with dry food, and they're very healthy.

it was not on the recall list that i viewed, the dry science diet is not tainted, it is the cans of wet food. that is tainted. again, i say, i have used the same dry food for years, and the same wet food, and thank god, either was tainted, i do not use the wet food with gravy or sauce, i use 9lives solid wet food, and dry food, for indoor cats, Purina or dry 9lives. its the wet food in cans, and pouches , I want to share this with you, i was totally shocked when it came out on the news, that menu foods, makes several different batches of canned wet food, some sent to Ia ms, some to science diet , for their labeling, and the cheaper to all other brands to label, but , it is ALL made with the same ingredients , same everything!!
just made a little dryer or wetter, , but the label is all that is different . and 9 lives is made by de Monte , and has nothing to do with menu foods. the only thing Purina had was the mighty bites, but took it off the market, Purina makes their own pet foods also. so, its another scam, and the 25cent a can 9lives that i feed my cats, is also the safer of all wet foods. hope this helps

Stick w/a high quality brand like Wellness and you are safe. It costs a little more, but the money you save in vet bills will far out weigh it. My cats are ancient and in excellent health. They claim it's the wheat gluten that caused the acute kidney failure, but they haven't found any evidence, yet. Some theories is the by-products. Neither of which is in Wellness food.
