Okay. From what i have come to gather, "taking advantage" of women is when a guy is sober, and makes a move on a girl who is intoxicated, and then proceeds to "hook up" My question is this: Why is this SO wrong? If there is a girl i find attractive, i would make a move on her whether she is drunk or not, so if she is drunk...isnt this unfair to me that i cant make a move on her? And also...if she is willing to get drunk and put herself into a position to be "taken advantage of", then why not?

I couldn't agree with you more.
I think that it is all the same drunk girls can turn you down if they want. They just chose not to. Then they use "DRUNK" as a cop-out.
Hell if I want a girl I will get her weather she is drunk or not. If she says no then I will back off, but if she is willing then I'll get it ;-))

Unfortunatly any gentleman would not "take advantage" of any woman who's decision making ability is altered in any way, (i.e. drunk, grieving, drugged, peer pressure, etc.). It may not sound fair, but that's what comes with being a true gentleman. Instead of "hooking up" with her while she is drunk, why not take the time to get to know her, she will tell you things she might not otherwise, let her sober up to where her reasoning skills are not hampered and then if you "hook up" it will be that much better and you will not become known as someone who takes advantage of drunk women, and consequently get a better reputation and "more " women.

Why not? Because you know in your heart that it's wrong. Plain and simple. Alcohol impairs your judgement and usually for women, the effect is different than if she was a male. There are studies out there on this, and for a woman to think she "made the decision" to have sex with you, that decision carries more weight then if she was a man. For one thing, she could get pregnant. She could get an STI that could cause her fertility problems in the future. And the list goes on. The reasons for drinking differ from person to person and sometimes even a person who drinks doesn't think about why they do it, they just do. Sometimes, it has to do with low self-esteem. A woman with low self-confidence is a very fragile person and needs support, not a vulture. Just don't do it. Try to respect her as a human being - or your sister. You would not want anyone to do that to a female that you care about. Think about it.

at the risk of being reported. Your thinking like a predator at a night club and your wanting to take home some cutie that is still heaving her guts out in the parking lot at 2am. That doesn't sound so good once you put it that way does it? How would you like for some stranger to take advantage of your drunk sister or perhaps if your mom was at a club and drank one too many? Still sound like something men should do? If the answer is yes then you need to admit yourself for some serious help.

because usually women prefer to be respected by "men"
when they are drunk, sober, or even giving a sign to take advantage of them. Women sometimes test guys if they only go for "hook ups" rather than being respectful and try to get to know them first. But if you prefer an easy woman...then I guess go for those who is willing to take advantage of you.

No it isn't fair for you to get to take advantage of a drunk woman! Shes incapacitated. And unable to consent to pissin in the toilet. How she gonna be able to consent to sex? With out sober consent it is called RAPE!

Being accused of rape is a big reason to stay away from drunk women. Now if your drunk thats a little different. But just remember, it only takes one girl to accuse you of rape and your life will be derailed for long time. Its not worth it.

That is actually a good point! But she can legally get you locked up for it, so even if it's not really fair, I would avoid it! I agree that if she gets drunk she should be willing to deal with the consequences, too!
