Let's see if I can explain it: everytime a tv-show is on air and it goes to commercials, there's a transitional 'cortinilla' between them which usually says something like, 'we'll be right back'.

Cortinilla (effect)
Cortinilla is a process through as it takes place a visual transition in which an image changes by another one to traverse and a limit that moves by the image.

The effect of cortinilla is used in animation or presentations.

Literally, cortinilla means a lace curtain or a very thin curtain, from 'cortina' = curtain. Perhaps they write 'We'll be right back' on a transparent curtain that goes over the program image? If so, that would make sense.
