My cat will unexpectedly head but people. I mean hard. He's not marking , this is how he shows affection. We warn our company so he doesn't loosen any ones teeth!!! I do wonder why your cat rings her own bell. Does she seem OK afterward?

Cats have scent glands on their face and other body parts & they "mark" things of theirs(yours) by rubbing on them & releasing their scent so other animals know they have been there & this is their stuff.

Cats do this in order to put their scent on things. Kind of how a dog marks things with urine a cat will mark by rubbing its scent off on things, including its owner.

Animals have sweat glands in many different areas. Most animals will run their bodies on things to get their scent on it in a way to say it is "theirs". My rabbits and dogs both do it.

She's just rubbing her head. My cats bump their heads into all sorts of things. I really wouldn't worry. Nothing majorly wrong with the cat. She's just being a cat, which is something we will never understand.

She's marking her territory with her scent. I bet she marks you too.
