Every religion has its good points and bad points. Very few religions have "clean hands" Christians burned "witches" at the stake, Muslims massacred villagers who wouldn't convert.

Everything bad we hear about Islam and Christianity has been perpetrated by an Extremist. Someone who believes they are interpreting the will of God and using it to their advantage.

You should really ask, who is the worst religious leader, after all, they direct the cults, and groups to do terrible things such as murder, genocides, expulsion of "outsiders".

i would say that the worst religion is any religion that is so extreme that they cannot see that many other cultures and peoples have their own religions and that they are all just as valid as the next.

and nest to that i would say that the worst thing to me would be a lack of belief. not for any moral arguement, just as a human i cannnot imagine how people cope with death when they think that that is it. end of the road nothing more.
what does life mean if it is truly so short. and if i am wrong. at least i chose a religion that required me to enjoy my life so i do not fall into the Pascals wager crowd. i have lost nothing either way.

I do not pass judgment on things I do not know about. However if they do not know what they are following then I think that is not the religion for them. Just to be clear I am not talking about any religion in general I think that if the person worshiping does not know what they are worshiping then I believe that it is wrong.

I can't qualify what I don't know. I don't know all the religions, so I can't call any of them worst. It's easy to see an extreme sect or a social stereotype of a religion and state that, because of that minor part, the religion is bad.

the abrahamic religions (christianity, islam, and judaism). just go to youtube and search for "the god delusion" by richard dawkins.

the only reason in my opinion is because of the history of violence that comes with those religions. there's a lot of good in them also but when it comes to religion, there shouldn't be any bad things. without religion we'd have good people and evil people as easy to see as black and white. religion allows good people to do evil things.

i myself am buddhist which by nature is atheist. i've never been happier.

I can only say the worst denominations or factions would be Extremist Muslims and Fundamental Christians. Third place would be a tie between Scientology and Jehovah's Witnesses.

i think the lack of religion is the worst because most religions at least try to raise some sort of ethics or morals in people.
