i have a cheap lighning audio amp and its 300 rms 4 ohms bridged so its not that big but i cant get it to work. it always goes into protect mode and when it doesnt it just doesnt play the music

Usually if an amp is going into "protect" mode it's either because the speaker impedance is too low, you're connected to a blown speaker, or your speaker wiring is shorted or mis-wired. Some amplifiers will show a protect light if they have a very poor ground connection. If it goes into protect with a good ground and no speakers connected, there's an internal problem with the amplifier.

it might be that the ground moves around when is in the trunk or wherever is at...also if the amp is not new then that might be ur problem...i have an amp for sale is not old i only used it two weeks...2000 watts...my e-mail rpisena@gmail.com cheap price too

speaker to amp impedance might be too low . try using two 4 ohms speakers, one on each channel

your amp can not give alot of power so its turns it self off Get a new better amp.OR make your speakers 8 ohms.
