Being lost. And that is OK because "it will never be found by seeking, but it is only seekers who find it".

Well last year I found out that the only true way to find truth is to take everything you know and completely throw it out. Take all the knowledge you were taught as a kid and put it on the side line. Now look at the world around you it looks completely different. And the truth will really start to leap at you. But always be careful to not jump to conclusions. I think everyone has this problem especially younger people like myself. Always be conscious that there is one right answer and that opinions are usually perversions of the truth. There are opinions to justify and discredit anything. Some would rather just be on the side of the best bull slinger. But I want to be the person that attempts to see all sides of the issue. And be the first one to announce when I'm wrong. This all led me to be an atheist and become a political independent. I've also became a very rational thinker and a great debater.

well first it is The Truth, not -a truth- so it shows that we are looking for an absolute something that is true whether we beleive it or not some might say a final authority. That being clear, there are 2 main ways we can find The Truth. by natural revelation--this is truth found by observation [modern day scientific method]. The sun rises, the seasons change, the earth goes about it's orbit etc. the other is revealed Truth. This is information given to you by someone who knows more than what you can observe, things we would never know if someone didn't tell us [how a friend feels about spinach :) or their past]. So there are things we can learn from nature, for instance how man is incredibly small in a big universe. But then there are things revealed to us. That though man is incredibly small, He was still made in the image of God who desires to have a relationship with His creation [thus why He gave us feelings and desires and a heart to Love] But We only know that because He tells us so in His word the Holy Bible. as the book of Hebrews in the new testament says "1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds"
So Truth is something that exists whether we ever realized it or not. we can learn by observation or by being taught or told.
God created the world so we can observe some truth in it [there is something bigger than man and it has order not chaos.] but He also taught and told us through revelation in His word.

Truth is a very subjective thing. What one person sees as truth another may see as a falsehood. Searching for it means that I will seek something until I have come to know that it is truth or a falsehood. Because I believe it does not make it truth for everyone but it does make it truth for me.

Truth is what you accept it to be...but be prepared to have someone differ...Truth is had to find in this world of agenda's, scams and ommission. You can't trust the media because they rarely tell the whole story and always slant it for hype. There's so much not told to us the truth is elusive and it's like that for most countries...If you had access to Ap, Upi and Reuters news service..It would be as close to the truth you can get.

It means seeking the truth, and knowing that real truth isn't limited to things that can be understood by human logic or what can be put under a microscope, whether atheists choose to acknowledge that fact or not.
