Okay, so i am on wellbutrin for a pick-me-up and to quit smoking---and usually when i take it makes me more alert and focused and i usually can clean alot! so it gives me lots of energy! Well, i have been sick lately and so i usually take wellbutrin early in the morning and some benedryl before i go to bed. But i messed up and took wellbutrin like 20 mins ago instead of benedryl (which helps me sleep)----i am freaking out b/c i have a really LONG day ahead tomorrow and i CANT be up all night! I tried throwing up to try and get rid of the wellbutrin so i could sleep--but i can't throw it up! So, is it ok to take Benedryl right after taking a type of pick-me-up? NEED ADVICE NOW! thanks

Yes its ok. I take wellbutrin to stop smoking also and take half the dose in the morning and half before bed. I also was told by doctor I could take benedryl still for my allergies and I have been taking both at the same time.

It's fine to take the Benedryl. I've done this before. Keep your day and night medicines apart. Have a great sleep.

I looked at one website and it looked like you would be in the clear. You can take it now if you really need to, but I'd be wary of interactions like vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, and the like. If you think you are experiencing an interaction call 911 *immediately.* Tomorrow try to find time to call your pharmacist or your doctor to see if it's okay to take the two drugs together.
