Congrats! First rule: NEVER owe money on a car that's out of warranty. So find out what the warranty is, and make sure the financing ends before that. Otherwise in the unlikely event the engine blows up, you're now riding the bus and still owe $6000 or whatever on a car you can't drive 8-(

All newer cars have excellent reliability (well I'm not so impressed with VW.) If you fear American models, no worries, they're fine nowadays. But I'm very impressed with the Korean models, Hyundai and Kia. They give long warranties, which is good for the reason I mentioned.

The Sonata is an outstanding product. Five-star crash test rated, 5-year/60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, jaguar-like styling.

I sell new and used Hyundais, my wife drives one, and I recommend them to clients and family every day. (I also sell other makes new and used)

You won't go wrong with the Sonata
You also get a 5-year unlimited milage roadside assistance warranty

GREAT CHOICE!
