So lately Ive noticed that I have this really nasty vein leading from the back of my hand to the back of my elbow and its like really popping out and starting to scare me. Why do I have it and how do I get rid of it???

It is gross I know..... Its not my fault........anyways its still there my doctor said it will go away... YEA RIGHT... thanks for your answers. :)

Did you injure the arm lately?
Either way, you should get it checked.. especially if it hurts.
I agree with the previous poster, it could be blocked by something, like a blood clot or some swollen tissue for some reason. While it might be nothing, there's an outside chance it could be serious.

Trust what your Dr. has told you. And if it doesn't go away, just accept that is the way it is. Everyone has veins that pops out some of the time and for some, it is all the time. This is the way God made us. Love yourself, popping vein and all.

Some people do have pronounced veins. If you are sure you are not pregnant, then I would go to the dr to make sure there is nothing wrong. It may just be that you have more pronounced veins - just take a look at Angelina Jolie!

Go to a doctor the vein might be blocked.

lift your hands up at the end of the day for like 15 minutes like the ones you do on your legs to prevent varicouse veins
